FRANK WHITTON CHAIR

In the 1950s, W. H. ‘Curly’ Russell was Design Director of Gordon Russell Ltd and was keen to expand the team to include more in-house designers. Frank Whitton was employed, alongside four others, and was involved in both retail and contract furniture.

This is a dining room chair, in African rosewood, from 1936.
