COVENTRY CATHEDRAL CHAIR

In 1960, Sir Basil Spence commissioned Dick Russell to design a chair for Coventry Cathedral. Not only were the chairs aesthetically pleasing, they were incredibly practical: they could stand-alone, be formed into rows and were easily stackable.
